April 21, 2025 — Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Gas is making significant progress on the expansion of its gas processing infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on the enhancement of the Habshan gas facilities. This initiative aims to increase gas processing capacity to meet the rising domestic and international demand for natural gas.
The expansion project involves upgrading existing gas processing units and constructing new ones at the Habshan complex. These enhancements are designed to accommodate additional gas volumes, thereby boosting the UAE's gas output. The project aligns with ADNOC's strategy to maximize the value of its gas resources and support the UAE's goal of achieving gas self-sufficiency.
