The IGD-E2 project is a significant expansion of ADNOC's gas processing capacity, designed to handle an additional 370 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) of gas. This initiative builds upon the original Integrated Gas Development program, which began in 2009 to facilitate the transfer of high-pressure gas from offshore fields to onshore processing facilities.

Construction of a new booster compression train with a capacity of 60 MMscfd.
Installation of two feed gas compression and dehydration trains, each with a capacity of 123 MMscfd.
Development of two amine-based fuel gas treatment units, each capable of handling 80 MMscfd.
Integration of drying and gas treatment units, along with power generation and auxiliary services.

The MERAM project aims to increase the extraction and monetization of ethane from existing gas streams, thereby supporting the growth of the petrochemical sector and optimizing the utilization of natural resources.

Enhancement of ethane extraction by 35-40% from existing onshore facilities.
Construction of new gas processing facilities to recover ethane from residue gas.
