Indonesia has started a new upstream oil and gas bidding round, offering 13 exploration blocks across several key regions including Natuna, Papua, Makassar Strait, and East Nusa Tenggara. The new licensing round reflects the country’s long-term plan to increase domestic energy production and attract more international investment into offshore and deepwater developments.
